Syllabus

This class aims to teach meth­ods and pro­ce­dures for val­i­dat­ing and ver­i­fy­ing sim­u­la­tion re­sults. To en­sure an er­ror-free fi­nal­ized de­sign, an­a­lysts must ver­i­fy the ac­cu­ra­cy of the FEA solver as well as val­i­date the re­sults against ex­per­i­men­tal tests and oth­er out­puts. This class is in­tend­ed for all LS-DY­NA an­a­lysts and any oth­er FE sim­u­la­tion en­gi­neers. Even though the pre­sen­ta­tion is geared to­wards us­ing LS-DY­NA, the meth­ods and dis­cus­sion are ap­plic­a­ble to any oth­er FE soft­ware.
